SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Daviess County cheer won first place in Game Day Large at the KHSAA Cheer State Competition with a score of 95.80, and coach Kitty Jones praised the team for their hard work and commitment. The Owensboro Times
- ➤ Daviess County bowler Jaxson Unsel signed with Campbellsville University to continue his bowling and academic career. He chose the in‐state, faith‐based school for its welcoming environment and plans to major in business with a sports management minor plus eventually open his own gym chain. The Owensboro Times
- ➤ Owensboro wrestling teams competed today at the Bear Down Wrestling Invitational at Central Hardin, where the Red Devils finished ninth of 30 teams, Panthers placed 11th, and Aces ended 13th.
