- ➤ The Strawberry Festival returns to The Cottage on June 13-14 with over 20 food vendors, arts and crafts, live entertainment and family activities from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.- vendor applications are now being accepted. The Owensboro Times
- ➤ A tribute concert featuring Beatles and Rolling Stones music will take place on May 21 at RiverPark Center; tribute acts will recreate each band’s style with period costumes and live banter. The Owensboro Times

- ➤ Museum expert Cory Burdette will lead a talk on the global role of WWII LSTs and their later humanitarian missions during the Owensboro Area World Affairs Council’s first spring program. - ➤ Today at Bowling Green High School, local school swimming and diving teams will compete in the KHSAA Region Two Championships as they aim to advance to state.
