  • The DCPS board will vote on three new names for an elementary school on Calumet Trace to replace the 60-year-old Highland Elementary building that has run its course, and the vote will guide final construction plans in the near future.  Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer

  • Residents in Owensboro are advised that limb collection resumes today after leaf season, with crews asking residents to place tree limbs behind the curb on garbage day while keeping areas clear of cars, mailboxes and drains, and check the city's interactive map for collection zones.  44 News
