- ➤ Non-profit groups can now apply for Daviess County’s Trash for Cash program, where they clean an assigned five-mile road stretch to earn $130 per mile in reimbursement. - ➤ Impact100 Owensboro has opened membership for its 2026 grant cycle, inviting local women to join with full memberships at $1,000 or half memberships at $500 and offering payment plans and a NextGen program (young women from eighth grade through high school can participate). - ➤ Residents across Owensboro can dispose of large items during free Neighborhood Cleanups coordinated by the Owensboro Neighborhood Alliance and Sanitation Department. The events run from March 7 (Hillcrest) to June 20 (Audubon-Bon Harbor) with multiple dates scheduled across the city. 44 News
