ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A single-vehicle crash on Highway 431 in Daviess County killed 54-year-old Gregory Kaelin on March 2 when his pickup—driven by his brother James—hit a tree; James later died after being airlifted to a hospital.  44 News

CULTURE NEWS

  • Owensboro Dance Theatre presents its In Concert show at RiverPark Center this weekend with two parts that mix dance and storytelling— the second part imagines a Willy Wonka world with flying moves, computer effects and over 200 local performers.   • Gov. Andy Beshear signed a law on Thursday that lets Kentucky student-athletes sign Name + Image and Likeness deals with their universities, effective immediately while a federal judge reviews a related settlement expected by April 7.  WDRB
  • Daviess County firefighters train at Owensboro Airport with a mobile flashover simulator from Fireblast Fabrication and the Kentucky Fire Commission.
