- ➤ Three men (Winston Smith, Nickolas Rogers, and Trace Dowell) were charged after an overnight shooting on East 5th Street damaged two homes and led police to recover two loaded pistols and a loaded shotgun (found in a vehicle) in Owensboro. 44 News

- ➤ Owensboro Catholic Middle School will continue NTI learning for the rest of the week after a storm caused roof leaks and water damage — repair crews and a roofing company are working to fix the building and make it safe for students to return. 44 News

- ➤ In Owensboro, severe hail damaged thousands of cars and homes on Saturday morning, leaving many residents with broken windshields, roofs & windows. Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance opened a hail clinic on Tuesday to help schedule appraisals and issue repair estimates in the coming weeks. 44 News

- ➤ Today, the Daviess County Clerk’s Office launched a free fraud alert service that sends email notifications when a mortgage or deed is recorded under a subscriber’s name — a move to help protect property owners from fraud. County Clerk Leslie McCarty said the system, developed with Software Management, LLC, allows users to register up to five names exactly as they appear on official records. The Owensboro Times

- ➤ RiverValley Behavioral Health was awarded $1.5M by the Kentucky Department of Behavioral Health to expand the state's 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline network with 24/7 chat and text services; the funding will help hire 15 new staff members and is set to make the service fully operational by July.
