- ➤ The Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum and ROMP Festival will join a Smithsonian initiative to celebrate U.S. 250 with expanded bluegrass history programming at Yellow Creek Park, set for June 24-27. The Owensboro Times

- ➤ Students from Owensboro Innovation Academy will compete in the VEX Robotics World Championship in St. Louis next Tuesday through Friday. The team earned its spot among more than 2,000 teams (nearly 50 states are represented). 14 News

- ➤ Firefighters and their families in Daviess County are attending a seminar hosted by the Chip Terry Fund Foundation this week to learn how to identify and manage PTSD + the event continues through Friday. 14 News
- ➤ King Drug and Home Care opened a new location on Pleasant Valley Road today to offer home medical equipment for eastern Owensboro patients and reduce travel times from Owensboro Regional Hospital & employ five full-time staff.
