Rob Holland, a 13-time national aerobatic champion and Owensboro Air Show favorite, died yesterday in an aircraft accident at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia — the FAA, NTSB, and Defense Department are investigating his crash.

Flood damage washed away the pavement on Griffith Station Road between KY-279 and Willett Road near Stanley, so county crews closed the road and said it will remain closed for several weeks — they will repair the road and remove debris as soon as possible.

At the end of March, House Bill 72, sponsored by Owensboro Representative DJ Johnson, was signed into law to expand healthcare access by allowing limited X-ray machine operators to perform diagnostic imaging at facilities using other imaging equipment.
