- ➤ Tamarack Elementary School hosted its 62nd annual carnival over the weekend—drawing several locals to the longstanding event. The Owensboro Times
- ➤ Officials gave a first look at the design rendering for the new senior center planned on 8 acres at the corner of Carter Road and West Second Street (23,000 sq ft) and said groundbreaking may begin later in May. - ➤ The Pearl Club, once known as Summit Country Club, was revived by Terry and Melody Delk after a challenging period that saw its rounds drop and near closure in 2019—community support and the COVID-19 golf surge helped it regain strength, now drawing over 20,000 rounds annually and offering amenities like a pool, six pickleball courts, and a full-service restaurant. - ➤ The Owensboro Symphony unveiled its 2025–26 season lineup today, celebrating its 60th anniversary with a five-concert subscription series that features classical, holiday and tribute performances along with two free community concerts.
