On Thursday, the Daviess County Fire Department responded to a report of a possible explosion at the landfill on Highway 815 and found half an acre of burning debris on the working face—landfill staff quickly used bulldozers, a scraper, and an excavator to smother the flames amid strong winds while firefighters found no evidence of an explosion and no injuries were reported.
Entrepreneurs can learn to use AI for content creation at a workshop at The Brew Bridge on May 20 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. — featuring an overview by the Kentucky Small Business Development Center and a panel of local business leaders — with tickets at $10 available starting May 5 at 8 a.m.
