- ➤ The Senior Community Center of Owensboro-Daviess County will host its annual Older Americans Month celebration on May 29 at its facility on West Second Street, providing a full day of wellness resources, lunch, live music, and dancing for seniors and community members. The Owensboro Times
- ➤ Saving Paws Animal Rescue of Kentucky, known as SparKY, donated seven pet oxygen mask kits to the Owensboro Fire Department to help first responders treat animals with smoke inhalation during house fires. Firefighters said the masks will soon be deployed on five frontline engines + specialty vehicles. The Owensboro Times

- ➤ Owensboro Art Guild is preparing its second annual Bluegrass Music Exhibit for summer in the Hampton Inn Downtown (Waterfront) from June 7 to June 28.
