NAACP Owensboro and Audubon Area Community Services are partnering to offer free expungement clinics this summer to help clear eligible criminal records.
The kickoff event is set from 4 to 6 p.m. on June 17 at Foust Elementary School’s gym, with four additional sessions scheduled in July.

A Monk mystery novel shows a local Owensboro connection through RiverPark, which once hosted mystery festivals led by Zev Buffman (died 2020) and involved Monk producer David Breckman.

The Kids Count Data Book released Monday showed Kentucky ranked 36th overall but scored second for high school graduation rates and tenth in fourth grade reading proficiency, covering data from 2019–2024.

Kentucky Wesleyan College and the Owensboro Family YMCA have partnered to build a new early childhood center that will allow the YMCA to serve more children.
The project is in planning and will take place in Owensboro.
