- ➤ The Eric Group and the City of Owensboro have announced the 4th Annual Downtown Summer Jam at McConnell Plaza along the Ohio River on July 19 with the Andy Brasher Band headlining and The Bombers opening; gates open at 6 p.m. and the concert starts at 7 p.m. VIP tables costing $100 each will be available for purchase today at 7 a.m.—offering reserved seating and special perks.
