- ➤ Owensboro Police investigated a shooting along Heartland Greens Pointe near East 26th Street on June 17th when a vehicle was struck by gunfire — two uninjured women were found inside as two men fled after a brief exchange, and detectives are asking anyone with video or information to come forward. 44 News

- ➤ The Eric Group and the City of Owensboro have announced the 4th Annual Downtown Summer Jam at McConnell Plaza along the Ohio River on July 19 with the Andy Brasher Band headlining and The Bombers opening; gates open at 6 p.m. and the concert starts at 7 p.m. VIP tables costing $100 each will be available for purchase today at 7 a.m.—offering reserved seating and special perks.
