- ➤ On Tuesday, the Great Race made a pit stop in Owensboro when over 100 vintage cars arrived around 5 p.m. on Veterans Boulevard and downtown hosted live music + food trucks for fans. 14 News
- ➤ Daviess County Animal Shelter became full after taking in 51 cats and 6 dogs from a hoarding case—Best Friends Animal Society will offer a $100 discount on adoption fees for the first 50 pets to help move them out. - ➤ The Owensboro Museum of Fine Art announced it will expand with a new children’s education annex using a $294,000 tourism grant plus its own funds toward a $735,000 project.
