- ➤ Owensboro native Rick Faris will debut his new album Life’s Parade with a concert at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame — Museum on July 10 at 7 p.m. His performance featuring his band and an opening act by the OCTC Bluegrass Band will include original bluegrass tunes and mark the album’s drop at 11 p.m. Central for fans arriving from across the country. - ➤ RiverValley Behavioral Health warned that potential federal cuts to Medicaid and HRIP may soon reduce funding for vital mental health services—such as inpatient care, addiction recovery, and family therapy—and overburden local hospitals in western Kentucky, urging lawmakers to protect these programs.
