- ➤ Lauren Price moved to Owensboro in early 2024 and became a local bluegrass leader working at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame — she and her sister Leanna form a touring band that made its Grand Ole Opry debut and has tour dates planned for 2025. The Owensboro Times
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Daviess County Extension Office offers hands-on education for youth, families, and farmers through workshops—ranging from canning classes and horticulture tips to estate planning and 4-H programs. The office is organizing a farm succession seminar on July 23 at the Owensboro Convention Center and also provides online resources that connect local research to everyday needs. The Owensboro Times
