The Handsome Cat Cafe, managed by Saving Paws Animal Rescue of Kentucky—will open next Wednesday in Owensboro with a $10 entry fee and BYO snacks.

Anthropic signed a 20-year lease for a 250-acre AI data campus on a repurposed aluminum smelter site in Hawesville east of Owensboro, and the facility is scheduled to open in Q2 2027, promising about $19 billion in contracted revenue and enough energy for up to 400,000 homes.
