- ➤ A crash on I-69 between the Sebree and Slaughters exits at 4:10 a.m. on Saturday left two people dead and two in critical condition after being airlifted while crews closed the interstate for six hours. 14 News

- ➤ Realtor Kelsey Jarboe launched Kelsey & Co Supply, a one-stop shop for discounted high-end appliances, light fixtures, mattresses, and more that currently operates via Facebook and will soon open a showroom on Owensboro’s east side—she said the business will offer top-brand products at prices at least 50% below retail. - ➤ David 'Oz' Osborne, a Daviess County deputy, was ambushed on May 27 while serving a restraining order near Pleasant Ridge when Darrell Perry shot him multiple times, leaving him paralyzed before he recovered and later forgave Perry after receiving a remorse letter—his ordeal led to a long career in public service despite the injuries. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Drivers using the Blue Bridge in Owensboro must use alternate routes because repairs on the worn decking will begin Monday night and last 90 days—forcing commuters to adjust their daily routes.
