Empty Bowls of Owensboro announced Thursday that Taylor is stepping down as chair — the organization will seek community partners to guide its new governance structure.

Owensboro will host the final weekend of the Bluegrass Clash Sports Summit and the fifth Downtown Summer Jam on Saturday; about 2,000 athletes will compete in six events while Paradise Kitty & Krown perform a free concert at McConnell Plaza from 7-10 p.m.
