GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ A repair project on the Carter Road Bridge over the US-60 Bypass in Owensboro begins today and will reduce lanes on westbound US-60 and northbound Carter Road until September. Officials said periodic closures to traffic on the bypass may occur as work continues. 44 News
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Owensboro cousins Nora and Allie Camp qualified for the NBHA Youth & Teen World Championships at the Georgia National Fairgrounds this week, with Allie in the 3D division and Nora in the 4D division as scoring lets them compete in any of the five divisions on Saturday. They will race today and again on Thursday against about 3,000 riders as they aim to advance to the championship. The Owensboro Times
