Owensboro food truck fans will get a new option when Black Flame Cartel debuts on Friday, August 8 at Street Eats on Parrish Avenue from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.—owner Nikki won the cart in a 4th of July drawing through Vendors United and plans to offer hot dogs with unique toppings and exotic sausages.

A 62-year-old Owensboro man, Robert Cannon, was arrested Friday during an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation for charges related to child sexual abuse material—he faces two counts for use of a minor under 16 in a sex performance and one count for procuring or promoting the use of a minor by electronic means while further evidence is under review.
