  • Ghostbusters of Daviess County are holding their annual costume drive at Ghostly Productions, 203 West 4th Street, to collect gently used or new costumes for local children in need. The effort, led by Donald Hayes, will accept donations until Halloween and may expand delivery options—ensuring more kids enjoy the holiday.  The Owensboro Times

  • Publix executed a lease to open its second store in Owensboro called Publix at Yellow Banks Square at the Southwest Corner of Carter Road and West Parrish Avenue—this 50,325 square-foot store + adjacent Publix Liquors will employ about 150 people, and an opening date has not been set.  TriStateHomepage.com
