ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • The Daviess County Sheriff's Office and the Fire Department responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian accident on U.S. 431 shortly after midnight between KY 298 (Hill Bridge Road) and East Marksberry Road, and the roadway is shut for emergency teams to work the scene.  The Owensboro Times

  • Sons of Habit, an Owensboro band formed about a year ago, signed with global talent agency WME and record label Republic Records after releasing their single Fool’s Gold last week—this deal opens the door for more national bookings and follows a lively hometown show opening for Ernest.  The Owensboro Times

  • Western Kentucky Botanical Garden will host its second annual Monarch Day on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — offering free admission and activities including educational talks, garden tours, children’s crafts, face painting, and performances by Bluegrass Community Theatre.
