A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on US 431 between KY 298 and East Marksberry Road early Monday after 12:30 a.m.—the roadway was shut down while officials worked the scene.

The city of Owensboro will buy 120.67 acres near West Parrish Avenue and the former U.S. 60 bypass for a new industrial park—this project will boost local business and create new jobs.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet contractor will resurface just over a half mile of Carter Road—also known as KY 2698—between Keller Road at the 0 mile marker and Winning Colors Way at the 0.6 mile marker today from 4 a.m. to noon; both directions of the road will be blocked during the project.
