- ➤ Trai’xon D. Smith, a 25-year-old man wanted in Florida for violent crimes, was arrested on August 20 in Owensboro around 3:30 p.m. on Starlite Drive by the U.S. Marshals Service—assisted by DCSO and Henderson and Glasgow police—and now awaits extradition on charges including murder. - ➤ Kentucky Transportation officials said the Blue Bridge between Indiana and Kentucky has been closed for over a month while crews install a new deck for needed maintenance on both sides of the Ohio River.
