  • Owensboro Times Pizza Week will run from September 19th to 28th and local restaurants will serve fixed-price pizzas and creative dishes like pizza bagels. CULTURE NEWS

  • Illuminate Owensboro will bring a sensory nighttime experience downtown from October 3-5, 6:30-10 p.m. nightly with interactive light tunnels, candlelit concerts and art installations that have been in the works for over six years—organizers have planned free displays including a twice-nightly drone show that will offer a fresh view of the city—inviting locals to enjoy art in a new way.  The Owensboro Times

HEALTH NEWS

  • Norton Children’s will host a community listening session at Newton Parrish Elementary School in Owensboro on Sept. 9 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.—families can share feedback to guide the design of a new pediatric campus planned near Louisville. The event is part of the Follow the Balloon series, one of over 100 sessions scheduled over the next 18 months to gather local input.  The Owensboro Times
