- ➤ After a one-year break, over 3,000 show dogs competed at the River Valley Cluster AKC All Breed Dog Shows hosted by the Owensboro River City Kennel Club and Southern Indiana Kennel Club—bringing together local dog lovers in a returning celebration of community spirit. The Apollo E-Gals finished fourth at the Fenton Dawson Invitational with senior Ava Falloway placing eighth overall, and the Owensboro Lady Devils ended their season opener at Sander Ferry Park in Hendersonville by finishing 22nd. - ➤ Daviess County’s Jackson Power shot a career-best 68 at the Christian County Invitational, finishing second individually and helping his Panthers score 310 for a sixth-place finish—he began his round with back-to-back long putts that changed his play. - ➤ Today the 2025 KICL mountain bike season began at Rudy Mines Bike Track as youth riders in grades 5 through 12 from across Kentucky raced while parents cheered with cowbells. Twenty-four teams competed and experienced riders like Park Dudley and newcomer Olivia Dudley tested their skills — setting the stage for a busy season. 14 News
