- ➤ The Owensboro Family YMCA held a ribbon cutting Wednesday for its new Infant and Toddler program that offers childcare for children as young as 6 weeks. The program starts September 2 at the main campus on Kentucky Parkway, operates Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., and will add 150 childcare slots over three phases—providing more affordable options for local families. - ➤ The Owensboro Museum of Fine Art held a groundbreaking Wednesday for its new Artland 2 Education Annex — the expansion will double art class capacity and add a community space for meetings and events.
