- ➤ A 38-year-old felon from Owensboro was arrested after police searched a home less than 1,000 feet from Daviess County High School on Thursday morning—troopers found meth, fentanyl, and a handgun, and she now faces charges for drug trafficking and possessing a weapon as a convicted felon. 14 News
- ➤ On Thursday, Whitesville woman Kylen Edge, 29, was arrested in Daviess County and charged with filing a false report after officers investigated an alleged assault at a local business—her cash bond was set at $250 and her arraignment is scheduled for September 24. The Owensboro Times
- ➤ A 38-year-old Owensboro woman has been charged with trafficking meth, fentanyl, trafficking within 1,000 feet of a school, and possessing a handgun as a convicted felon near two schools — Maximilian Montessori Academy and Daviess County High School — after authorities executed a search warrant just before noon on August 28, and she is set to be arraigned on August 29.
