The Freedom Walk returns Friday to honor 9/11's 25th anniversary and the lives lost that day.

The walk starts at 11 a.m. at Fire Station No. 1 and ends at the First Responders Monument at the Daviess County Courthouse with color guards from local high schools and a guest speaker closing the event.

For the Owensboro Air Show from Sept.

11 to 13, the Owensboro Bridge, parts of the Ohio River, and the English Park Boat Ramp will close; the bridge will restrict vehicles Friday (10 a.m.–4 p.m.), Saturday (7 a.m.–5 p.m. with a Bridge Walk 7:30 a.m.–noon) and Sunday (12:30–5 p.m.).
