Since opening in 2022, Your Wax Spot has built a strong following in Owensboro and owner Tiffany Woodward plans to expand by opening a storefront and hiring a team—steady word-of-mouth has kept business busy.

Woodward began waxing in a back room at GG’s, moved through several locations, and now serves local clients with full-body waxing and aftercare products.

A vigil was held at the Daveiss County Courthouse to honor youth lost to gun violence — organizer Titus Willis said families shared painful memories and vowed to keep victims' legacies alive.

A team of Owensboro women set a world record by flipping a 320-pound tractor tire for one mile in 32 minutes and 54 seconds at the Daviess County High School track yesterday, beating the previous coed record of 35 minutes.

The team trained for four months and the event was delayed by an hour because of thunderstorms.
