- ➤ The Pink Mic Project is a new event to raise cancer awareness and support local patients, scheduled for October 2 from 3-6 p.m. at Cromwell Media on Tamarack Road; organized by Owensboro Health with broadcaster and breast cancer survivor Erin Owen—who aims to connect residents with screenings and local resources—the event will feature a live broadcast on 100.5 The Party, informational booths, and a silent auction with prizes for fundraising.
