- ➤ Today, John Lampkin hosts his 39th annual Farm Festival—an event with free admission from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring over 50 vintage tractors, food vendors, kids’ games, and a model airplane flying field at his property on 8284 Short Station Road in eastern Daviess County. The Owensboro Times
- ➤ Green River Community Food Warehouse reached an agreement in principle to buy the Clark Distributing Company property downtown to build a temperature-controlled warehouse for storing and distributing donated food in Owensboro and Daviess County. The project will help improve hunger relief and cut food waste—thanks to a deal where the Clark family sold the property below market price. The Owensboro Times

- ➤ Nationally touring comedian Mark Chalifoux will headline the Kentucky Sound Stage on October 17 with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the show starting at 8 p.m.—the performance, which will be filmed in a theater space for a late-night TV feel, will feature opening act Gavin Eddings and host Chris Izzy, and tickets are available in advance or at the door.
