- ➤ KYTC said additional time is needed to safely complete repairs on the Owensboro Bridge on U.S. 231, and the reopening is now set for Jan. 16 instead of earlier this month. Construction crews are working extended hours to replace a 750-foot section of steel decking—drivers should detour to the nearby U.S. 231 William H. Natcher Bridge. The Owensboro Times
