Local residents are invited to vote in the Howl-o-Ween Happy Tails pet photo contest from October 24 to October 30 after pet owners submitted pictures and adoption stories of their rescued companions.

Owensboro Public Schools and RiverValley Behavioral Health teamed up to install new communication boards at Cravens Elementary—tools featuring colorful symbols to help students with speech challenges communicate better.
