Hundreds of families + friends of Green River Area Down Syndrome Association clients filled McConnell Plaza on the riverfront Saturday morning for GRADSA's annual Buddy Walk to raise awareness and support for local participants.
WBKR's 50th Annual Christmas Wish will accept letters for families in need through Monday, Nov.
30; submit online or mail or drop off letters to Christmas Wish (3301 Frederica Street). The public office opens Monday, Nov. 30 and will be open Mondays through Fridays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 23.
