- ➤ The Owensboro Convention Center will host the 8th Annual Breakfast with Santa on December 20 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.—families can enjoy fluffy pancakes, savory sausage and a choice of orange juice or coffee while tickets cost $12 in advance or $14 at the door and a toy donation drive helps support Christmas Wish. - ➤ It Takes a Village Rescue has asked Owensboro residents to donate usable tents, dog houses, and straw to help keep homeless camp pets safe and warm this winter—donations can be dropped off at three local shelter locations. WOMI Owensboro
- ➤ Jamaican Yard Vibes in Owensboro is collecting donations—non-perishable foods, warm clothing, toiletries, toys, pillows, sleeping bags, paper towels, tissues, blankets, cleaning supplies and toilet paper—from November 7 through 20 at its 2845 West Parrish Avenue Suite C location to support hurricane relief in Jamaica.
