COMMUNITY NEWS

  • Two tennis courts at Dugan Best Park were converted into a multi-use area that now hosts junior basketball, street soccer, and an obstacle course. Officials worked with youth from the Dugan Best Community Recreation Center — a project that is part of the 50th anniversary celebrations.  14 News
  • KSP is holding its annual 'Cram the Cruiser' food drive until Dec. 5 — all 16 state police posts are hosting collection centers to help families in need this holiday season.  WDRB

CULTURE NEWS

  • Jackass star Steve-O spoke with Eyewitness reporter Joe Bird ahead of his stop at Owensboro RiverPark Center (Crash and Burn Tour) this weekend. He said the show will feature never before seen footage and wild stories from his time working on the Jackass movies.  TriStateHomepage.com

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • City officials announced that the Safe Haven Baby Box at Fire Station 1 on West 9th Street is being taken out of service while it is relocated to new Fire Station 3 on Cravens Avenue, which is under construction. A temporary sign at Fire Station 1 will guide families to the nearest operational box in Rockport, Indiana, and officials say it will be back in service around April 2026.  14 News
