  • Kentucky State Police are increasing patrols this week to help keep roads safe during Thanksgiving weekend by urging drivers to stay sober and follow safety guidelines—planning ahead if drinking, wearing seat belts, and reporting unsafe drivers.  14 News
  • The City of Owensboro announced that Dallas Ave will close today at North York St for a Publix grocery store project—road crews will reopen it for the weekend before closing it again on Monday with a flagger managing traffic.  44 News

  • Evan Hampton, a senior football star and Vanderbilt commit, surpassed defensive coordinator Drew Hall’s rushing record by reaching 4,885 yards after setting a new school record with 326 yards in a game last Friday—his achievement comes as his team prepares for tonight’s semi-finals—while he continues to lead Owensboro football history.  The Owensboro Times
