- ➤ Simply Momma T’s food truck serves comfort food and fresh Kona coffee (shipped directly from a single farm in Hawaii) and started in early November by Tracy Mayes. It usually parks at the Street Eats lot on Parrish Avenue and will offer rotating breakfast to dinner menus through winter. The Owensboro Times

- ➤ Faithfluence, a national faith-based movement, will host a live event this spring from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on May 2 at Venue 1010 where worship, speakers and testimonies bring believers + creators together for cultural and community conversations. The Owensboro Times
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources announced its 'Christmas for the Fishes' program that will recycle donated live Christmas trees by submerging them in lakes to boost underwater fish habitats. Donations are accepted in Owensboro — at the Grimes Avenue Transfer Station until January 16. The Owensboro Times
