- ➤ Green River Community Food Warehouse has raised nearly $3 million toward a $4 million campaign to build a cold-storage facility for donated food in Owensboro and Daviess County. Leaders said construction planning will begin when additional funding is secured + the new facility will improve food distribution. The Owensboro Times

- ➤ Daviess County is building a 12-station outdoor archery range at the Mattingly Target Shooting Range and updating pickleball courts at Yellow Creek Park; the county, which acquired 13.07 acres to expand the range to nearly 90 acres, will invite bids for the court designs when drawings are complete.
