Judge/Executive Charlie Castlen attended a groundbreaking at Paradise Regional Industrial Park where Biomass Engineering and Equipment will invest $20 million and create 250 new jobs + the project is a collaboration among five counties that will help the host county recoup its investment over four years through a 1% occupational tax.

Officials in Daviess County are moving forward with a $3.5 million highway safety project that will add a new restricted u-turn intersection along U.S. 60 at Wrights Landing Road & Hawes Boulevard.

The project is expected to be complete by mid-November and aims to address 52 accidents reported over the past five years.
