- ➤ The Old Owensboro Neighborhood Alliance is back from its 2022 pause and will hold its first meeting tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. at Third Baptist Church, 527 Allen Street—residents and business owners in the area are invited to join monthly meetings through November to help shape the neighborhood's future. - ➤ Authorities said 89-year-old Lola Davis, who had dementia and went missing from her Mount Vernon home Monday morning, was found dead in a neighbor’s vehicle near East 2nd Street in Owensboro just before 8:30 p.m.—no foul play is suspected. 44 News

- ➤ Owensboro Times & PeezO’s Pizza are awarding two $500 'Chick' Owen Memorial Scholarships to high school seniors in the Class of 2025 or 2026 to honor community advocate Larry 'Chick' Owen during Dust Bowl; recipients will be recognized at the 3-point contest on July 25 while applications are due July 21. - ➤ A $1M Powerball winning ticket was sold at the Kroger on Starlite Drive in Owensboro during Monday night's drawing — it matched five white ball numbers but not the Powerball. Lottery officials say winners should sign the ticket and claim the prize within 180 days while noting that the jackpot remains unclaimed at an estimated $216 million. 44 News

- ➤ Owensboro announced the Bluegrass Mountain Cup will debut at Rudy Mines Trails on July 13 as part of an eight-stop series with over 125 youth and adult riders racing from April through October.
