CULTURE NEWS

  • Kentucky Wesleyan College will host its annual Festival of Lessons and Carols at St. Stephen Cathedral on December 4 and December 5 at 7 p.m.—the event will feature scripture readings, hymns, and performances by local musicians led by Choral Director Hadley Rouse.   • Owensboro Catholic High School dedicated 'Kamuf Way' on Nov 22 to honor the late Charlie Kamuf — a 1957 graduate whose support advanced Catholic education, and his family attended the ceremony in the school gym.  The Owensboro Times

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has announced road projects in District 2 for the week of November 23-29 that will affect traffic, with work such as tree trimming, mowing, cleaning and pothole patching planned in multiple counties. A contractor will also perform guardrail work—potentially causing lane restrictions and delays.  44 News
